Dragon Crest Trekking Tour in Krabi

The Hike

The trail is about 4 km up and 4 km back down, climbing through thick jungle and bamboo to a summit of around 500 meters. It’s a steep, sweaty and rewarding climb, and your local guide sets the pace and tells you about the forest along the way. krabinaturekrabinature

The View

At the top, the summit looks out over the Ao Nang beaches, Noppharat Thara Beach and Krabi Town, and on a clear day even the Phi Phi Islands. You can have a break here to rest, take photos and enjoy the view. krabinature

Who It’s For

This is a real trek, not a walk. It’s hot, steep and tiring, and it isn’t recommended for young children, unfit travelers or anyone with mobility problems. Good shoes, plenty of water and a moderate level of fitness are enough to enjoy it. alongdustyroads
